WOODCOCK ( Scolopax Rusticola . )

There are two hunting seasons for this migrant species in Romania. Spring season means the months of March, April , depending on the weather conditions. Fall season means October, November .

. Autumn: From October 15th to December 10th.

. Spring: From March 15th to April 15th.

After years of experience, our company chose the best hunting fields for woodcock. Our fields stretch from the Carpathian Mountains all the way to Baragan and The Black Sea, thus incorporating all the great areas of woodcock populations, with the best of weather conditions. Beginning from mid October in our designated area of the Black Sea, woodcocks, pheasants and partridges are all there.

To those passionate for woodcocks hunting, we guarantee very good days, from about 5 to 10 daily hunting meetings for each hunter, depending on migration. Groups must be of minimum 4 hunters.

The closest airport to the hunting area is in Bucharest, daily flights from all main European cities. Accommodations will be provided in hunting houses or hotels, in double-rooms, right on the site, with no need to drive for daily hunting sites.

Throughout the last season, the results were excellent. The hunting sites are on small hills, with no difficulty whatsoever. Lunch will consist of packed snacks, taken straight into the forest.

For pure logical reasons, we can not form numerous groups. As a result, we recommend those interested to contact us as soon as possible.

We recommend groups of 3 to 6 persons .

Recommended gun: shot gun, pellet diameter 2.5 mm (No. 7) .
